The Le
Center Area Chamber of Commerce
welcomes your interest and
inquiries.
The Le Center Area Chamber of
Commerce is a voluntary
organization of individuals and
businesses who have joined
together to advance common
interests in the field of
commerce, agriculture, industry,
retailing, government,
education, recreation, tourism
and labor and consumer
relations. it also serves
as an information gathering and
distribution bureau.
Our philosophy is to encourage
involvement not only of business
owners and managers, but also of
employees. Many opportunities
for varying levels of
involvement are available. They
include:
Ribbon Cuttings - New
businesses in the community are
welcomed with a visit from
chamber members and a symbolic
cutting of the ribbons to open
the doors. Businesses which have
moved, expanded, remodeled or
made other significant changes
are also recognized in this
manner.
Business After Hours -
Businesses have the opportunity
to host chamber members at their
establishment, explain about the
products and services offered,
introduce key employees and give
a tour of the operation. This is
an informal gathering to help
acquaint the community with the
wide variety of opportunities
that exist here.
Membership Meetings - The
general membership meets once
per quarter. A short business
meeting featuring reports on
current activities is followed
by entertaining and educational
program. Past examples have
included small business
development center, occupational
health and legislative updates
from our local representatives.
