The Le Center Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes your interest and inquiries!

The Le Center Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who have joined together to advance common interests in the field of commerce, agriculture, industry, retailing, government, education, recreation, tourism and labor and consumer relations. it also serves as an information gathering and distribution bureau.

Our philosophy is to encourage involvement not only of business owners and managers, but also of employees. Many opportunities for varying levels of involvement are available. They include:

Ribbon Cuttings
New businesses in the community are welcomed with a visit from chamber members and a symbolic cutting of the ribbons to open the doors. Businesses which have moved, expanded, remodeled or made other significant changes are also recognized in this manner.

Business After Hours
Businesses have the opportunity to host chamber members at their establishment, explain about the products and services offered, introduce key employees and give a tour of the operation. This is an informal gathering to help acquaint the community with the wide variety of opportunities that exist here.
Please contact us if you are interested in Before Hours.

Membership Meetings
The general membership meets once per month at 8am the First WEDNESDAY of the month at CITY HALL. During this meeting we review current activities and past activities along with future business and other ways we can help " build a better tomorrow together" for our local businesses and community members. We also have educational information available including small business development community news or changes and updates from our local business representatives.

Focus Groups
Occasionally a need arises for study or action on a particular topic of interest to the community. In those cases the chamber may form a focus group for one particular issue.

Special Events
The chamber plans and co-sponsors many events, as you can see from our scrolling Community Events on our home page. The chamber supports community organizations, businesses and interested individuals in a variety of activities.

We currently have approximately 85 members from the communities of Le Center, Montgomery, Cleveland surrounding area. Our membership year runs from September through August each year.
