Public Safety



 The Public Safety services of Le Center consist of three separately independent departments,
the Le Center Police Department, Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services Department.

EMS
The Le Center Ambulance Service (EMS) located next to and with the Fire Department on Cordova Avenue, serves approximately 4,000 people that live in the Le Center area, and also assist other ambulance and fire departments in Le Sueur County.

Fire
Our Fire Department is located at the corner of Cordova Ave and Ottawa Street, which provides fire suppression, technical rescue, hazardous materials services, and fire prevention services. These activities include recruitment, orientation, and training of a full complement of volunteer firefighters.

Police
Our Police Department is located on the north side of the Municipal Building located at Tyrone Street and Park Avenue.  Services include 24 hour patrol, investigations, crime prevention, animal control and more. Services are provided by a team of sworn officers both full and part time, all accountable to the Chief of Police.
