Licenses are required for:
- Alcohol Licenses
- Pet Licenses
- Direct Sellers / Transient Merchants
- Fireworks
- Restaurants
- Refuse/Recycling Haulers
Alcohol Licenses
General requirement: No person, except a wholesaler or manufacturer to the extent authorized under state license, shall directly or indirectly deal in, sell or keep for sale in the city any intoxicating liquor without a license to do so as provided in this division. Liquor licenses shall be of one kind--on-sale, club licenses. (Ord. Sec. 4-52(a))
On-sale licenses: On-sale licenses shall be issued only to clubs, and shall permit on-sale of liquor only. (Ord. Sec. 4-52(b))
Club licenses: Club licenses shall be issued only to incorporated clubs which have been in existence for 15 years or more or to congressionally chartered veterans organizations which have been in existence for ten years. (Ord. Sec. 4-52(c))
Applications can be made at City Hall during normal business hours.

Pet Licenses
License required: No person shall keep any pet/dog/cat over three months of age within the city limits without securing an annual license from the administrator's office, who shall keep record of all licenses issued and shall issue a metal tag for each license. (Ord. Sec. 8-2(a))
